Does Sex Sell or Would You Call it Fashion?

I am all for the being risque in fashion. Vogue Hommes International Magazine really takes it there. In all the pictures, it catches yours attention. In my mind, I am like did they just really put those pictures in a magazine. At the same time, the product that is being displayed in the pictures catches my eye. For instance, the gentlemen in one of the pics rocks a gold watch. In another picture there is emphasis on the makeup the female model is wearing, male models trousers, and more accessories.  So I would say that sex sales but it is a happy medium in between the two. There has to be that wow factor in order to gain the target audience attention. From there the rest is open highway. What do you see in the pics that catches your attention? Give me feed back.

Disclaimer: To all my younger readers sorry for the explicit pics. However, this was vibe that I was feeling today as I searched for things to blog about. This post is only meant to inform and to entertain nothing more.

House of Holland Fall 2010

House of Holland... Wow, while watching Kelly Katon again I learned of a new designer.. His style is very funky and on the edge. He pushes the envelope. Most of the models were putin lace tops without bras.... OMG! SCANDALOUS! I love his collection.. Take a look for yourself..
I found a few line about him online if you find more please comment.

Henry Holland  26. May 1983 is a fashion designer from Ramsbottom, Lancashire, England. He has attracted notice with his bold, '80-inspired T-shirts with catchphrases such as "I'll tell you who's boss, Kate Moss".[1] Holland is a friend of model Agyness Deyn. In spring 2009, Levi Strauss & Co debuted a denim collaboration with Holland. He formerly worked for the fashion section of teenage magazine Sneak.

What Price Will You Pay For Fashion?

We all are aware that the fashion industry is a beast.  At what price are you willing pay for it. From the long hours, innovation,  ensuring that everything is in order, and making sure that your place is secure. If you are in the industry,  understanding  the demand is vital.  Sometimes it gets to the point that one can live their life in there job. I always refer back to several different examples like The Devil Wears Prada, The September Issue, or almost any fashion industry documentary. There were several instances in the movie  when Miranda's  assistant Andrea was all over the place. Andy Sachs was running through streets, walking dogs, and even put to the challenge of getting Harry Potter books the unpublished versions. It is real because no matter what and at the end of the day it is a passion. If there is not a passion for it then there is the need to be there to make sure to hold a job. Even down to the retailers where the demands falls on the visual merchandiser to push the product out. As I stated earlier, every job in the industry is vital and important. Jay McCarroll states that it is all for 11 minutes. What he meand by this statement is in the tents. Craziness!

OMG LADY GAGA AND B3YONC3 T3L3PHON3

I have been getting all the reviews and all the gossip from my friends about the new video. I LIVED FOR THIS VIDEO.... IT WAS ORIGINAL THIS IS THE TYPE OF STUFF THAT BEYONCE NEEDS TO GET BACK TO DOING. In this video, I felt that Beyonce displayed all of her talents. From dance, acting, and singing, she was truly amazing. Lady Gaga is a beast all of her costumes were original and sickening. Fitting with the theme and all. The ligh blue telepohnes did it for me. I LIVED TO DIE TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It kind of has a Kill Bill, Thelma and Louis, or Set if Off type of vibe to it. I was surprised to see Tyrese as an extra. Even more surprised to hear Beyonce using profanity. What your thoughts about the video?
